Etihad Airways has announced it carried 5 million passengers during the first quarter of 2025, marking a significant rise in demand as the airline maintains its status as one of the world’s fastest-growing carriers. The carrier also reported an average passenger load factor of 87 percent for the first quarter, improving on the 86 percent recorded in the corresponding period last year. Chief Executive Officer Antonoaldo Neves stated that the airline had welcomed nearly 20 million guests over the twelve months ending in March 2025. The airline now has a total of 16 new destinations scheduled for launch in 2025.
